David Townhill has been a musician from birth. After early childhood experiments with the rattle and miniature trumpet he settled on piano and violin. Having trained as a classical concert pianist he then began dabbling in the dark arts of pop, rock and musical theatre. This journey has taken him from the Edinburgh Festival to Glasgow's King's theatre; from Princes Street Gardens to the Cambridge May Balls; from the Kelburn Garden Party to Doune the Rabbit Hole and beyond! As well as the many bands he's had the pleasure to be involved with over the years, performance highlights as soloist have included Rhapsody in Blue, Grieg's piano concerto and Finzi's Eclogue; Anything Goes, The Sound of Music, Oliver! and The Wizard of Oz as repetiteur and keys player; requiems by Faure and Brahms, the St John Passion and The Messiah as rehearsal pianist and ensemble performer.

Ken Nicholson has been imagining stuff and acting it up from an early age! His credits range from the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham in his self penned pantomime "Three Little Maids in Sherwood Forest" to Oscar Wilde's Lord Darlington in Lady Windermere's Fan. He's digested more Shakespeare than you or I've had school dinners and he's Traversed the young writer's programme at said Theatre with many another aspiring playwright. Along with David Townhill he's forged no less than three musicals taking one to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at the Gilded Balloon, having another shortlisted for workshops by London's Perfect Pitch Musicals Ltd, and seeing their latest effort, Celebrity, have its demo recorded and filmed at the Pleasance Theatre in Edinburgh. He's also produced, directed and performed in plays, musicals and films for the Makars, the Luvvies, Creative Space and other Edinburgh societies.
